The USID Foundation August Meet up was organized
at Infor Global office. The meeting was
attended by professionals from 14 different
organizations including Infor Global,
CA, Microsoft, Oracle, Cordys, Progress,
Satyam, Microusability, Axaya, Globarena,
SDG, Jay Engineering Works and Powerviews
Tech and educationalists from Osmania
University.

of Meeting |

The USID Foundation August Meet up was organized
at Infor Global office. The meeting started
later than the schedule, at 6:45 PM, as
most of participants reached late. |

| The
meeting was attended by professionals from
14 different organizations including Infor
Global, CA, Microsoft, Oracle, Cordys, Progress,
Satyam, Microusability, Axaya, Globarena,
SDG, Jay Engg Works and Powerviews Tech
and educationalists from Osmania University. |

The
meeting started with a presentation from
Senthil Doraiswamy, Principal Architect,
Infor Global on Service-Oriented Architecture.

| Following
this, Prof. C. Beena talked on Cognitive
Psychology in context to HCI. She spike
about the theory and science of cognitive
psychology and how it is relevant to human
computer interaction principles and computer
users. |

| |
| The
talk was followed by announcing the USID Foundation
website. The first draft of the website
www.USID Foundation.org was launched and feedback
is solicited from the participants as well
as the members. |

| |
| The
meeting was concluded by informal chat over
snacks. Participants interacted and exchanged
ideas informally and discussed their interest
and focuses. |

concluded at 9:30 PM. |
